Yes, backcountry skiing can be expensive!
But the good news is lots of barely used equipment ends up being sold at great price for those who are more budget-conscious or who want to give human-powered skiing a shot before getting a new equipment.
*DROP-OFF*
You can drop off your equipment for sale at SkiUphill - RunUphill between 10 AM and 6 PM every day until the day before the event. Please clean your equipment before bringing it in.
For every item sold, SkiUphill - RunUphill will keep a 15% comission of the amount of the sale (time to grab photos and post online and credit card fees). You decide your price.
*NO FRAME BINDINGS.* Only backcountry skiing equipment please. Shifts are ok. We will refuse broken or worn-out equipment as well as downhill skiing gear.
*IN-PERSON SKI SWAP*
On Saturday October 18th, all the equipment dropped off will be displayed at the same time online and at the store.
*ONLINE SKI SWAP*
Our staff will take photos and write descriptions of each product we receive. On Saturday October 18th at 9 AM, we will make all items received available for purchase online. First come, first served. You will be able to view all the skis, boots, bindings, etc directly on the SkiUphill website.
All items will need to be picked up at the store directly. No deliveries, and no holds.
