May Family Discovery Day and Work Party! At the Asheville Farmstead School

As spring ripens into summer and the leaves deepen their green, we’d love to welcome you to our next Family Discovery Day—a free, open-to-the-public event where families can explore our campus, meet our community, and soak in the mountain air.

Join us this Friday, May 10th, and bring your friends, your kids, and your sense of adventure! (Attending an FDD counts toward our tour requirement for prospective families—just let a staff member know when you arrive.)

After FDD, we’ll roll right into our Work Party at 1 PM. This is a great chance for families and supporters to lend a hand in planting, tidying, building, or tackling whatever spring tasks are calling. If you plan to stay, we recommend packing a picnic lunch to enjoy between events.

As always, we’re rain or shine. Just make sure you dress for the weather (and maybe toss in an extra pair of socks).
