Floral Arrangements at Swan Island Dahlias with Heather Schloe

If you've enjoyed Heather's classes in the past, this will be another chance to enjoy her passion for flowers and creating beautiful bouquets. Whether for a photo shoot or just a vase, your hand-tied bouquet will be gorgeous on a table in a vase once you're done with it! An assortment of flowers will be available to design your bouquet, allowing everyone's bouquet to be a little different. Each bouquet will have its unique flair and will be finished with its own unique ribbon style. Heather will allow you to choose from an array of ribbons to finish off your bouquet. You might even want to take a few photos with your bouquet in the field after class! Join her for a 2-hour class on flower arranging. Heather will walk step by step through the process and provide all the supplies required. She will share tips and tricks she has learned along the way to make floral arranging easier and keep your flowers fresh as long as possible. Each participant will take home 1 beautiful bouquet arrangement, a pair of Dramm Clippers, and a pair of gloves. The arrangements will mainly include dahlias, but also include greenery, filler, and other flowers. Vessels for your arrangement may vary. Class is for adults only.

Class Fee includes: All Supplies for 1 floral arrangement, Dramm Clippers (Heather’s Favorite), and a pair of Nitrile Gloves.

About the Artist: Heather is part of the Swan Island Dahlias family and team and has grown up on the farm; she is a third-generation grower. Heather became an elementary teacher for a short period of time before returning to the family farm full-time. She began doing wedding flowers at the age of 13 and continued for many years, before taking on more responsibilities at the farm. She's had the honor of learning from some of the best florists in the industry. Flowers are her passion, but most of all, she loves her family! She is married to her amazing husband, Brendon, who you will find working alongside her on the farm. She is also a mama to two amazing kids.

Please bring a box to transport your arrangements in.

Each participant will leave with 1 arrangement, gloves, and clippers

All supplies are included in the class fee of $110.00

*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.

*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.

*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks, as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.

*Please check in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
