People laughing and having fun, that's what a trivia night should be like!
The Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club comes alive every Wednesday at 7pm for a trivia night that is different, engaging and very exciting. QuizXpress is the name of the game and the game is trivia and it is nothing like your typical trivia night. It's played with wireless buzzers, so there is no pens and no paper.
There is nothing worse than playing paper based trivia where people cheat. You know what we mean, one person in the team sneaks off to the toilet and looks up the answer as the other people in the team answer the next question the host reads out. It's very frustrating! Well that can't happen with QuizXpress, once the countdown timer expires, it's onto the next question and there is no way to go back and buzz in an answer to a previous question, so problem fixed, no more cheating, no more feeling frustrated. It's now a fair playing field for all.
A typical trivia night with QuizXpress will consist of a fastest finger round, where your knowledge and speed is tested. If you buzz in first and answer correctly you get the points and everyone else misses out, just like the old TV game show Sale of the Century. There is Trivia Ladder which is similar to "Millionaire Hotseat" where the more questions you get correct the higher up the ladder you go and this is where the big points are. There is a last man standing round, Jeopardy, Horse Race, Wheel of Fortune and much more!
QuizXpress is a trivia night filled with lots of variety, it's highly interactive, fun and totally engaging. It is not your typical paper based trivia night, we guarantee you'll love it.
