Spend a day getting up close (but not too sneezy) with the fascinating world of pollen at ANU’s Pollen Immersia — part of the School of Culture, History & Language’s flagship festival, Immersia.

Hear from Australia’s top pollen experts, peek behind the scenes of daily pollen counting in Canberra, and find out how this tiny stuff can pack a punch for hay fever and asthma sufferers.

Each session includes bite-sized talks on cutting-edge research, live demos of the pollen count process, 3D-printed pollen models, games that make science fun (yes, really!), and plenty of time to quiz the experts.
