IT MIGHT BE COLD, BUT WE'RE STILL RUNNING!
The Canberra Miniature Railway runs fun train rides for big & little kids twice a month. The next public running day is Sunday 27 July, from 10am until 2:00pm, weather permitting. You can check the event status on the day by going here:

We're located at the southern end of Jerrabomberra Ave in Symonston (near Narrabundah) but the easiest way to find us is to punch "Canberra Miniature Railway" into Google Maps and let it navigate you right to our gate.
For this event we will have three different tracks and several trains, including a steam train! Tickets for unlimited rides can be pre-purchased for just $15 at

You can also hold your next party at the trains! For the ridiculously low price of $50 you get a reserved space in our party area, a BBQ, a table with (limited) seating, and a free unlimited ride ticket for the birthday person. The canteen will also be open to purchase yummy hot & cold food & drink so you can buy your lunch here and enjoy it while watching the trains go past. We've gone cashless so bring your card/device if you want to make any purchases.
ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED (no sandals, thongs, etc).
We are run by a non-profit society staffed entirely by volunteers and are always looking for volunteer drivers, guards and station masters. All training provided. No set obligations. Email expressions of interest to
