The ANU Griffins Future Group invites you to attend our annual Patrons Dinner, with special guest and 2025 Club Patron, Jackie Parry.
Jackie is currently gearing up for the 2025 AFLW season, wearing the white and navy hoops for Geelong. Jackie is a key target in the forward line with a beautiful overhead mark, textbook kicking action and the tank of a mid-fielder. 2025 is Jackie's seventh season in the AFLW, having previously also played with Melbourne.
Growing up in Melbourne, Jackie was an avid footy fan (and is still a Shinboner at heart), playing Auskcick and junior footy for Prahran FC until u12s before switching to soccer. Jackie didn't pull on the footy boots again until 2018. It was there, on the frosty hallowed turf of South Oval that the Griffins really consolidated Jackie's love for the game. Having risen through the ranks from humble community football in Canberra to the big stage, hear Jackie's story and what it takes to get to the top.
