Ready to get your hands muddy? Our Intro to Throwing on the Wheel course is the perfect start to your pottery journey! Over four classes, you’ll learn the fundamentals of working on the potter’s wheel — from centering clay and shaping basic forms to trimming and glazing your very first finished piece.

Each session builds on the last, guiding you step-by-step through the entire process:

Class 1: Introduction to the wheel, centering clay, and throwing basic cylinders.

Class 2: Refining shapes and exploring simple bowls or cups.

Class 3: Trimming your forms and adding finishing touches.

Class 4: Introduction to glazing techniques and glazing your first piece for firing.

All materials, tools, and firing costs are included. No experience is necessary — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy!
