Alt-Country Visionary Rob Fillo Brings Soul-Stirring Tour Through Camrose

CAMROSE AB – Acclaimed Vancouver Island-based singer-songwriter and author Rob Fillo is set to hit the road this July for a transformative Alberta tour. With stops in Edmonton Camrose Foothills County and Brooks Fillo is bringing his powerful original music and poetic storytelling to venues across the province—including a much-anticipated performance at the Bailey Theatre in Camrose on Saturday July 5 at 8:00 PM.

Fillo is known for his emotionally rich songwriting intricate guitar work and a voice that cuts to the bone. His genre-blending style fuses alt-folk blues rock and country creating unforgettable live performances that are as intimate as they are electrifying.

This summer tour also celebrates the upcoming release of his debut memoir Singing with the Trees a lyrical journey of healing creativity and connection to the land—written during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic while traveling the backroads of Vancouver Island.

“These shows are about more than music” says Fillo. “They’re about shared moments of truth about finding yourself in a stranger’s song. Alberta has always had a special place in my heart and I’m thrilled to return with stories songs and something real.”
