About the Retreat:
On Summer Solstice weekend, June 20-22, 2025, join Adhi Two Owls in retreat at Awakening to the Heart Sanctuary for a Sacred Drum Birthing Immersion. You will be making a 16-inch Drum and Mallet. All materials will be provided.
Interwoven with creating your drum, you will connect with its spirit through journeying, blessings, and ceremony. Adhi will share about the history of the drum amid teachings from many different traditions. At the end of the retreat, there will be a final ceremony, celebration and drumming at the Sacred Fire Circle. Others are invited to join in for a Summer Solstice Community Drum Circle and celebration.
Cost for this special retreat is $375.

The drum is one of the oldest instruments. It is said that the universe conspired to bring the humans and the trees together by teaching them how to make a drum so they would have a common language. It is through this language we sing to our ancestors that walk along the Earth with us and among the stars.
About Adhi Two Owls:
As an artist, educator, and healer, Adhi Two Owls integrates visual art with traditional craftsmanship and indigenous healing practices to foster wellness and deepen connections with the self and nature. She resources her materials from ethical sources and has made it her mission to create works that can be restored and repaired. At AdhiZen Studio located in Littleton, NH, she creates a variety of handmade sacred tools, sounding and percussion instruments, Leather Journals, bags, Jewelry, and more.
Adhi has taught in the private sector for over 20 years facilitating retreats, conferences and private groups in the United States and Internationally. She is currently an adjunct professor at SUNY Canton, NY where she teaches Art History and Drawing.
