It’s my birthday y’all, & I want to spend it in a pool full of Fabulous Fat Friends, raising Funds towards a Mobility Scooter for Fat, First Nations, Queer, Disabled Community! Oh & let's not forget High Tea for us Hefty, Hungry Humans!

I’ve been attempting to hold Fat Community events since the year 2000, with little luck until my solo exhibition FEARLESS FAT was curated by Artspace in 2021…RIGHT IN A COVID LOCKDOWN!!! I didn’t get to celebrate with you then.

So let’s have a Fearlessly Fat Wobblingly Wet Pool Party to celebrate survival, help community thrive, create NEW fat portraits underwater, educate, agitate & organise! We can’t serve resistance from an empty cup, so let’s nourish our hearts together, & gird our loins for the triggering holiday season to come.

This event is run by a Fat, First Nations, CALD, Disabled, Queer Artist on Dharug Ngurra, who is passionate about Fat Liberation, Community Care, Activism, Advocacy and Art. She/Her.
