The City is firing up the grill and inviting residents to a special Open House. This event is family-friendly, drop-in style, and will include a free BBQ and bouncy castle.
The OCP is the City’s long-term roadmap, guiding land use, housing, transportation, parks, and public spaces over the next 20 years. Since the project began in early 2024, staff have gathered community input, reviewed background research, and developed draft policy directions.
At the event, you’ll have a chance to review key growth concepts and proposed future land uses in the draft OCP. There will be interactive displays, information boards, and City staff and planning experts available to answer questions, share what we’ve heard so far, and collect your feedback.
The community input from this and other events will be used to further inform the draft OCP, which will help shape Campbell River for years to come.
