Join us for a powerful and compassionate weekend exploring the connection between yoga and mental well-being. Whether you're a yoga teacher, mental health professional, or someone looking for more tools to navigate life’s challenges, this workshop offers a practical and heart-centered approach to integrating yoga and mental health support.
Led by Rachel Wilson, experienced yoga therapist (C-IAYT), teacher trainer, and longtime student of all things mental health and healing, this training blends science, philosophy, and embodied practice. You'll explore:
✨ The nervous system and the stress response
✨ How breath and movement can support anxiety, depression, and trauma
✨ Mindfulness and interoception as tools for self-regulation
✨ Language and sequencing that create safety and agency
✨ Yogic perspectives on suffering and healing
Expect a mix of movement, stillness, discussion, journaling, and self-inquiry. This weekend is an invitation to reconnect with yourself and your practice in a meaningful and supportive way.
No prior experience with yoga therapy is required. CEUs available for yoga teachers.
