Free Fishing Derby Ages 5-15

This FREE event is in its 31st year as a fun family event hosted by the Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg-North along the beautiful Conodoguinet Creek in Mechanicsburg. Kids age 5 through 15 are welcome to attend accompanied by adult chaperones. Participants should bring their own fishing gear, although a limited amount of gear will be available. We will provide the bait and instruction. There will prizes for largest fish caught in various age categories. Since most kids will want to wade in the water please have them wear water shoes and appropriate clothing along with sunscreen and bug spray. Feel free to bring folding chairs too. Complimentary food and drink will be on hand. Registration starts at 7:30 AM and fishing starts at 8 AM. Walk ins welcome although an RSVP is preferred for planning purposes. See you at the water!
