About the event

Discover the Secrets of the Honeybee
Learn about the tiny, but fascinating, Honeybee!

About this Event

Honeybees are an important creature living among us. By starting education about the honeybee at a young age, the care and survival of this vital pollinator will continue. This program is designed for children to help them understand the role this tiny, but fascinating insect plays in providing food to our table and in preserving our environment. In addition, explaining the cooperative nature of thousands of individual insects working together for the betterment of the whole colony, we can parallel and encourage some basic, preferred human kindness activities. Suggested ages 6 - 12. Registration Required.
