A sound bath is a time when we allow the mind and body to relax. In the beginning of the class, we will guide you through physical relaxation techniques. As the physical body begins to relax, we will begin playing Tibetan singing bowls. Tibetan singing bowls emit vibrations that help induce relaxation.
You will lie down for 40 minutes to an hour while we play a variety of instruments around you. It is best to attend this class with an empty stomach (not eating less than 2 hours before). Bring water and wear comfortable, loose clothing that covers the entire body.
Ideally, you should eat 2 hours before the sound bath or at least, no heavy meals just before.

Why cover the whole body?
As the body becomes more relaxed, it begins to cool. If your body then must work to warm you up again, this may disturb the depth and experience of relaxation.
