ALL Girl Scout Levels (Daisy / Brownie / Junior / Cadette / Senior / Ambassador - Grades K-12)
Location: Adventure Aquarium Camden, NJ
Date: August 2- August 3 (This is a sleepover/overnight/lock-in!!)
Join the Center for Aquatic Sciences inside the Adventure Aquarium for an awesome overnight adventure. Explore the Aquarium’s amazing shark collection, sea turtles, stingrays, and a multitude of different fish. You’ll spend the night sleeping up close/near one of the aquarium exhibits. The next morning, you’ll get the chance to test your courage crossing the world’s longest shark bridge.
Your overnight adventure begins at 7 pm sharp and will include:
A self guided tour of Adventure Aquarium exhibits.
Adventure Aqaurium and Girl Scout Scavenger Hunt.
Visit to the Touch Tanks.
Guided behind-the-scenes visit to the top of the Ocean Realm tank.
Sleeping space near the exhibits.
Souvenir patch Morning Hippo Viewing.
Light evening snack and continental breakfast.
All guests will need to exit the building at 9:00 AM sharp.
Important Lock-in Information - Please Read:
ALL ADULTS AND GIRLS MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND Troop Leaders / GS Adults: All Troops must meet Girl Scouts girl-adult ratios for their group. Individual girls must be accompanied by a registered adult. The typical ratios you follow for your meetings/overnights are perfect! (Please contact Tanya Toth at

Daisies: Council recommends that each Daisy staying overnight have a 1:1 ratio, with 1 Adult responsible for 1 Daisy. However, with parent permissions and if the Daisy is ready for an overnight those ratios can change and be flexible at the discretion of the Troop Leader.
Men: As per Girl Scout guidelines Girl Scout men will have separate sleeping arrangements and restrooms. If you are a male Troop Leader please make sure you have an unrelated female attending with your Troop to be with your Girl Scouts for sleeping arrangements. Before the event, all registrations will be verified by GSCSNJ. Troop Leaders and GS Adults will be contacted to confirm their group attendance. Specific detailed information will be shared as the event approaches.
