Childbirth Preparation Webinar
Our pre-recorded childbirth preparation webinar series is designed to provide you with a better understanding of the labor and delivery process, help you to feel more confident in caring for your new baby, introduce breastfeeding techniques, all from the comfort of your home!
INFANT CARE: Postdelivery weights and measurements, infant cues, breastfeeding and formula feeding, bathing, diaper care, burping, swaddling and dressing, crying, car seats, pediatricians, and infant blood work.
LABOR AND POSTPARTUM: The stages of labor, the laboring process, comfort measures, skin-to-skin contact after delivery, roles of those caring for you during labor, policies for support and visitation, safety and security, pain control, caring for yourself and your baby, postpartum depression, rooming in, and accessing assistance after discharge.
BREASTFEEDING: Benefits of breastfeeding and breast milk, early latching, baby transition after delivery, infant sleep and awake states, feeding cues, methods of latching, hand expression, using a breast pump, and lactation assistance after delivery.
