Did you know that there are over 4,000 grape varieties used to make wine across the globe?! And yet most people are only familiar with a handful of the most popular and widely-grown ones. Let’s explore some of the lesser-known ones together for a mini vacation to places like Greece, Portugal, and Georgia.
Join educator Kim Simone as she leads you through this valuable class where you’ll learn about and taste some of the more obscure grapes that are made into wine, from all over the world. Knowing this information can help you expand your palate, get more value for your money, and maybe find a few new favorites. You’ll leave with the confidence to buy that mysterious bottle from Eastern Europe or southern Italy!
**We will make every effort to accommodate food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, but, due to the fact that we work with small producers from around the globe, we are unable to guarantee or protect from cross contamination**
Location: Commonwealth Wine School
