About the event

Te whakanui a Matariki, celebrating Mataraki with whanāu and friends
Join us in the Museum gardens on Saturday 28 June between 10 am and 2 pm for craft activities, a fun Te Haerenga Whetū Matariki Star Quest and a Papa Mahi traditional weaving demonstration.

All welcome – Nau mai, haere mai!

This is an outdoor event. If the weather looks poor, check our Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Koha / donations kindly appreciated.

This event is being run in partnership between Cambridge Museum and Historical Society and Te Roopu Wahine Maaori Toko I Te Ora ka Puta Ka Ora, with support from Waipā District Council.
