A celebration of summer and music, Sounds Green takes place every Wednesday evening in July on the Garden’s Main Lawn, providing a perfect opportunity to embrace sights, sounds and summer scents in the Garden with family and friends on a (hopefully) warm, summer evening.
On Wednesday 23 July, enjoy music from Cores Do Samba. Led by Brazilian singer Caru Lins, the group explores the infectious, rhythmic and uplifting music of Brazil, especially the ’MPB’ style (Música Popular Brasileira), plus samba, bossa nova and funk, and songs by Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, João Donato, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Joyce and Ivan Lins.
🎵 Music begins at 6.30pm, lasting approximately one hour.
🎵 Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Garden until 8.30pm when the gates will close.
🎵 Picnics are welcome. Food and drink will be provided by Guerrilla Kitchen, Jack’s Gelato and The Garden Café.
🎵 Bring a rug or picnic chair and relax in beautiful surroundings to some stunning musical sounds!
