Join Cambridge Indivisible for a Signs of Solidarity Canvass. Together, we’ll stand with our immigrant neighbors and demonstrate the power of a community united in justice.
We’ll begin at 10:00 AM with a short training where you’ll learn how to engage local businesses with confidence and care. Then, participants will be paired up and canvass small businesses across Cambridge to:
Invite them to display “We Stand With Immigrants” signs
Provide information on their rights when it comes to ICE
Share practical steps they can take to protect their employees and customers
We will supply everything you’ll need for the canvass. Just bring yourself and consider:
Comfortable shoes
Water
Hat or sun protection
Anything else you need to stay comfortable outdoors
Why This Matters
When businesses proudly declare solidarity, it creates a visible shield of safety for immigrants and shows that our community refuses to give in to fear. Every sign posted, every conversation had, is a small but mighty act of protection—together, they build a web of safety, dignity, and power.
