Join us for an exclusive evening in the timeless surroundings of the Library at University Arms Hotel, Cambridge, as we welcome renowned Norfolk-based wine expert and drinks writer Bert Blaize on Thursday 16th of October at 6pm.
Sicily is one of Europe’s most captivating wine regions, producing wines that are as diverse as the island itself. From the smoky, mineral-rich reds of Mount Etna to the crisp whites shaped by coastal breezes, and native varietals such as Nero d’Avola and Grillo, this guided tasting will take you on a sensory journey to the Mediterranean.
Doors will open from 5:45pm, with the tasting beginning promptly at 6:00pm. Each ticket includes four distinguished Sicilian wines, thoughtfully paired with a bespoke menu created by our chefs to enhance the flavours of every glass. With Bert Blaize’s expertise, guests will be guided through each wine and pairing, offering both insight and inspiration - whether you are new to wine or a seasoned connoisseur.
For those wishing to attend as a group, we recommend booking together to ensure you are seated with your party. Our chefs are also delighted to cater for most dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free); please advise us in advance by emailing
