Print & Make a Lampshade with Lydia Finney

Create a bespoke drum lampshade with block printing on fabric in this engaging workshop led by Lydia, a skilled fabric printer and maker from Suffolk.

In this workshop, you will:

Learn the art of block printing to personalise textiles.

Practise techniques on scrap fabric before printing a 30cm drum lampshade on cotton or linen.

Experiment with a variety of wooden blocks, linocut designs, and paint colours.

Take home a unique handmade lampshade and new creative skills.

Optional: Enjoy a walkthrough of David Parr House.

This workshop is open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced printers.
