Pianist Pierre Hurel, described as “one of Boston’s real gems” with a style that is “impressionistic and adventurous, coming off somewhere between Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett,” will lead the trio through a night of fresh interpretations of timeless standards and brand-new originals. He will be joined by drummer Mike Connors, known for his nuanced and expressive style, and bassist Greg Loughman, whose lyrical playing brings depth and warmth to the music.
