I Line: Structured Figure Drawing

Join us for I Line: Structured Figure Drawing, a dynamic weekly class ( every 7th week off) focused on developing speed, precision, and visual vocabulary through live model practice. Each 2 hour session (with drop-ins for the second half long pose segment for $10!! 7:30 - 8:30 pm) includes targeted warm-ups, guided exercises, and timed poses designed to sharpen hand-eye coordination and build muscle memory. Weekly themes like gesture, structure, anatomy, and proportion help you improve steadily, no matter your experience level.

Expect a relaxed but focused atmosphere, thoughtful instruction, and a rotating series of live poses—from quick gestures to longer studies. Whether you're a total beginner or a working artist, you’ll leave each class with a stack of drawings, a stronger visual vocabulary, and new tools to improve your figure work with confidence.

We begin each session with a short talk on the day's focus into a series of warm ups and stretches. The first half will range from 30 second to 2 minute poses. After a 10 minute intermission we'll move on to the longer poses to close it out.
