Join us for a creative and practical sewing day with tutor Shirley Howell, as we make beautiful, personalised Hussifs (sewing kits). Whether you’re an experienced stitcher or just want to try something new, this will be a fun and hands-on workshop.

Our usual sewing and embroidery equipment
2 pieces of fabric (50–60cm long x approx. 50cm wide)– one for lining– one firmer fabric, or a mix of fabric scraps to piece together
Batting or needlepunch
A small leather oddment
Vilene (interfacing)
Lunch (tea and coffee provided)
Sewing machines and irons will be available, and there will be some supplies on hand if you’re missing anything. Don’t miss this chance to stitch something both lovely and useful!
