“The spell of her style begins in her stance. She has a marvelously composed persona and memorably elegant posture.” –The New York Times
One of the world’s most beloved tango artists, Guillermina Quiroga’s extensive credits include the mythical Tango Argentino and Forever Tango on Broadway; several films, including Assassination Tango (2002) and Valentina’s Tango (2006); performances at Carnegie Hall, on the Mundial Festival stage in Buenos Aires, and at the World Soccer Cup, worldwide tours with singer Julio Iglesias; performances with several live orchestras including Luis Bacalov, Mariano Mores, Pablo Ziegler and Color Tango; the creation of her own tango show, Tango, Historias Breves; and the iconic Libertango routine she choreographed for ice dancing World Champions and Olympic gold medalists Oksana Grishuk and Evgeni Platov. As a dancer, teacher, and master choreographer, Guillermina Quiroga has greatly influenced the role of women in tango. She runs her own company, Guillermina Quiroga Tango Company, and has personally trained many of the world’s finest tango dancers.
Mariano Logiudice is a World Champion in martial arts. After discovering tango, he studied intensively with distinguished tango Maestros Raul Bravo, Juan Pablo Barbutti, Guillermina Quiroga, Andres Cejas, Olga Besio, Demian Garcia, and Julio Balmaceda, among others. Mariano became a teacher at the Escuela de Tango de Buenos Aires, Club Gricel and Salon Canning in Argentina. He also graduated from the University of Argentina as a Psychologist, with the Thesis “Tango y vejez” (Tango and the elderly), which explores the psychological benefits of tango dancing on elder people.
