Culinary Herb Starting Workshop

Spring IS coming, but we don’t need to wait for warm weather to start sowing seeds. Growing fresh herbs whether for your window sill, patio pots or garden is fun and rewarding. In this seed starting
workshop, we will discuss how to grow herbs such as parsley, basil, dill, thyme and more! You will learn what conditions are needed for healthy plants, and practice sowing small pots of herbs to take home. We will also talk about what herbs can be sown directly in the garden, and drying herbs for winter time
use. The workshop will be led by coop member Janet Britt who has been growing fresh herbs in her garden for 35 years and enjoys working with fellow gardeners.

Tickets are $10 for non-members & $5 for members
