Coton Orchard Bioblitz – Orchard Walk

Over two weekends in June, we are taking a ‘snapshot’ of the wildlife in Coton Orchard. Biological records from the event will be passed on to national recording schemes and will help to build our knowledge about the biodiversity in this Priority Habitat.

The activities and recording will be led by a number of experts from various fields. Come and see what we find and help with identification – with ID guides and experts on hand.

In this guided walk through the Orchard, we will take in some of its fascinating history, see the ways in which it is being developed both as a traditional orchard and for nature – and, we hope, encounter a few of the many species found here.
