To commemorate its centenary, Harvard University Press presents five landmark books by John Ashbery, Jorge Luis Borges, Umberto Eco, Ben Shahn, and Igor Stravinsky, based on their Norton lectures, reissued with a new foreword by a distinguished contemporary voice. The Office of the Dean of Arts & Humanities, the Mahindra Humanities Center, and Harvard University Press invite you to join us for a conversation on the vital role of the arts and humanities in public life with Stephanie Burt, Adam Gopnik, Vijay Iyer, and Viet Thanh Nguyen.
This event is co-sponsored by Harvard University Press and the Office of the Dean of Arts & Humanities.
