Beginners Pottery Workshop

We are excited to offer a 6-week Beginner’s Pottery Workshop designed to introduce participants to the foundational techniques of hand-building and wheel-throwing in clay. This workshop provides a creative, supportive environment where participants can explore their artistic potential and learn the basics of pottery making.

Duration: 6 weeks

Schedule: Tuesday evenings, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Start Date: 5th August 2025

Location: WSA Room - Centennial Park School

Cost: Thanks to the generous support of the Waitomo Society of Arts Committee, the usual workshop fee of $250 has been subsidised by $100 per participant. This means you'll pay only $150 to take part.

Participants: Minimum 6 - Maximum 10

Workshop Includes:

All clay and materials

Use of studio tools and equipment

Bisque and glaze firings

Instruction and guidance from experienced ceramic artists
