Author talk with James W. Barnes

Join James as he discusses the process of writing his novel that began as a children's story written in exercise books, over a period of 3 years.

He will discuss what inspired him to expand the story once the main character crossed over into modern day Oregon, Barnes' home state.

He will also tell his own story of his journey to find a publisher.

The themes of A Page in Time include the protection of native forests, standing up to an oppressive government regime, coming of age issues and the nature of friendship.
