Afternoon Garden Concert featuring Tea for Three (T43)

All are welcome to join us in McDougall’s cozy cottage garden for a fantastic afternoon of lively traditional music and song featuring Tea for Three (T43).

This musical trio includes Paul Morris on melodeon (button accordion), Gwen Potter on viola d’amore (five string violin with sympathetic strings) and Brad McEwen on cittern (mandolin on steroids).

Their repertoire is traditional folk music, mostly from England, but with lots of tunes from France, Belgium, Scotland, Canada, Scandinavia and anywhere else as long as they like it, and it fits. They have performed at Folk Festivals and events across Ontario and in the UK, with Tethera and other configurations.

Light refreshments will be served and if the weather isn’t in our favour that afternoon, we’ll just head inside!

“Advance tickets” are $10 plus HST per person, day of ticket sales “at the door” are $13 plus HST if still available. Museum members receive a 10% discount by using "Memcode".

Note: Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at the Cottage during McDougall's hours of operation.
