Join Northwestern REC in Caring for the Community by participating in our Drive-Thru Food Drive!
On Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., we invite members of the cooperative and members of the communities in our service territory to donate nonperishable food to Center for Family Services' Food Pantry. Drive into our parking lot. Northwestern REC staff and volunteers will meet you at your vehicle to collect your donations. We'll deliver your donations to the food pantry, and you won't even need to leave your vehicle!
Due to construction on site, we will have signs in place to route traffic. Please follow the signs upon your arrival.
We are also collecting the following items to support Pennsylvania and New Jersey students who participated in the Rural Electric Youth Tour this summer:
-Hygiene items to support Benny's Bodega, organized by a Christina, a student from Sullivan Electric Cooperative
- Gently-used or new winter clothing, including outerwear, organized by Kendall, a student from Adams Electric Cooperative
These items may be dropped off at Northwestern REC during the Drive-Thru Food Drive and our staff will make arrangements for transportation.
Thank you for your generosity and Concern for Community!
