Join us for an unforgettable experience where culture, community, and connection come alive! Hosted by the Native American Rising Generations Foundation, the Roots of Reliance Day Camp invites Native and Indigenous youth to explore their heritage and strengthen their ties to the land and each other.
Here’s what campers can look forward to:
Camp highlights include:
- Traditional Crafts: Create your own talking stick and Medicine bag guided by skilled community members
- Indigenous Games: Discover the spirit of play through traditional games that teach teamwork, resilience, and fun
- Nature-Based Adventures: Explore the land with activities that honor Native ecological knowledge
- Story Circles & Cultural Teachings: Listen to wisdom from elders and cultural leaders in an enriching circle space
