Gregg Hague joined us on our open day & our 1st birthday, he will be joining us on Friday 23rd August.
We had lots of great feedback and was asked if he could hold a clinic.
I have been a pleasure rider for over 40 years. In 2015 but I got the dressage bug and began training and competing, I am training at Adv. Medium level with current horse and plan to compete him Advanced in 12/18 months’ time
I started my Dressage Judge training early 2020 and qualified as a listed judge Oct 2022, I'm about to sit my upgrade exam.
I have judged many grass roots competitions as well as been involved in numerous regional championships, festivals, high profile and premier league shows nationally.
My partner and I have a large livery yard in Nottinghamshire, producing and competing our horses as well several horses on competition liveries.
Working with riders from Intro – Elementary/Medium I teach dressage, flatwork and hold test riding clinics at my yard and regionally. I will teach either private lessons or small groups which are always fun and informative for all including other riders and spectators
My main philosophy when teaching is to break things down clearly to ensure the rider really understands why certain techniques are used and what benefit it has with the partnership with their horse.
I have been involved in demo days and boot camps which are always very popular not least for the free flowing prosecco
Ultimately whatever levels someone is at I want them to feel they can improve and really make progress during the lessons and whilst practicing on their own.
Above all else; it must be fun and rewarding!
I regularly attend clinics by other teachers to benefit from their experience and use of techniques as well as many national dressage seminars and online training courses hosted by British Dressage; this helps me with my own personal development
My partner and I train regularly with National Grand Prix champions and several times a year we train with the German national team coach.
In 2018 we began breeding our own horses "iKANDi stud" putting our own quality dressage bred mares to a fine selection of proven stallions from the UK and Europe.
To date we have 15 fantastic "premium & elite graded" foals. We have won regional titles and podium finishes at nationals
