Launch of Wildflowering by Design

Join us for a celebration of native wildflowers and women's connection to place. Enjoy canapés, live music and cash bar hosted by Moffat Beach Brewing.

The Wildflowering by Design exhibition draws inspiration from ground-breaking women such as artist/environmentalist Kathleen McArthur to present contemporary responses by artists from the Sunshine Coast and beyond. New artworks and designs reimagine and celebrate native wildflowers and women’s connection to place. Curated by Dr Sue Davis & Dr Lisa Chandler.

Artists include: Rose Barrowcliffe, Nai Nai Bird, Renata Buziak, Donna Davis, Joolie Gibbs, Anne Harris, Nicole Jakins, Shelley Pisani, Edith Rewa, Cara Ann Simpson, Marni Stuart, Emma Thorp and local artists from the region.

This project was made possible by funding from the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
