The Waverley will be rocking throughout this year's Callander Jazz & Blues Festival 2nd-5th October. Keith and Stu Xander were discovered on YouTube by Gibson Guitars CEO Henry Juszkiewicz and the rest is history. "Xander and the Peace Pirates are just awesome” Whispering Bob Harris. Al Brown & the Bluelighters are fronted by one of the country's finest blues guitar players and backed by some of the best talent found around the Glasgow music scene. Clean toned blues lines, with a hint of jazz! Véronneau are Canadian vocalist Lynn Véronneau and UK guitarist Ken Avis and bring a dynamic vibrant blend of jazz, bossa nova, French chanson and blues to their award winning performances. Newcastle ensemble STAN the BAND bring good-time boogie-rock that feels like it's one part shipyard sweat, one part bar-room philosophy and one part melodic know-how. The Tenement Jazz Band are known for their infectious energy and authentic New Orleans sound. Expect toe-tapping rhythms, vibrant improvisation, and plenty of good vibes. The Greig Taylor Band are without doubt one of the UK's hardest working and top blues bands and it shows. Phenomenal blues, rock and boogie. Bison Hip are a blues rock band with a combination of great song writing and talented musicians. Nominated for UK blues album of the year in 2025! Rachel Duns brings her earthy jazz sound, sometimes a bit quirky and a bit psychedelic, back to this year's festival. Main Street Blues are one of the top electric r&b acts to emerge from the East of Scotland in recent years, celebrating the music of blues legends BB King, Albert King, and Freddie King. Rigid Soul are an exciting young trio striving to keep the old spirits of blues, jazz and rock 'n' roll alive at the heart of their modern eclectic sound. The Jazz Pack Band are a group of Stirling jazz musicians with a repertoire of mainstream jazz styles including swing, latin, funk, blues and jazz rock.
