Have a story to tell and a love for animation? This camp is your creative playground! Youth are invited to dive into the world of stop-motion animated storytelling, and learn animation techniques through intuitive hands-on activities. Whether you're dreaming up fantasy worlds, creating a slice-of-life story, or experimenting with abstract visuals, you'll put your imagination into motion and leave with a short-animated film that’s all your own.
Artworks created during these workshops will be featured in a public exhibition at Esker Foundation’s Bridge Space, giving you a chance to share your story with the world!
Workshop schedule (registrants must attend all 3 days):
Sunday 9 November, 10am - 4pm
Monday10 November, 10am - 4pm
Tuesday 11 November, 10am - 4pm
Recommended for youth aged 13-18+. Registration and parent or guardian consent essential for participants under 16.
Parents or guardians are not required to be present for the duration of the program. Lunch will be provided, and youth will receive an honorarium for attending.
NOTE: Please register with an email address that you monitor regularly. You will receive a confirmation email prior to the program. You must reply to the email to confirm your attendance. If you do not confirm, your spot will be offered to the waitlist. This new system has been implemented to ensure as few tickets as possible go unused.
