Feature Artist (8:15–9:00 PM): Brian Volke
Brian Volke is a longtime Calgary folk and roots artist, known for his powerful guitar style and warm songwriting. Founder of Tir Na N’og/My Son Ted, he’s also taught at FAMI and directed the Water Valley Celtic Music Festival. His music blends passion, storytelling, and a love of life.
Opening Act (7:00 PM): Bittersweet
Bittersweet is a Calgary trio of friends—Tannis and Bill Bentley with Murray Little—who bring joy and heart to every performance. With their voices, ukuleles, and a love of folk, blues, and jazz, they share fresh takes on old favourites and the occasional original, creating music that feels both familiar and new.
