The [M] Factor 2 Before the Pause

Join us at Mount Royal University (Ross Glen Hall EC1050/EC1060) for a special screening of The [M] Factor 2: Before the Pause (Perimenopause), produced by Women in the Room Productions and Take Flight Productions.

This powerful documentary brings perimenopause into the open, illuminating the years before menopause when many women first begin noticing changes in their bodies, energy, sleep, mood, and sense of self.

But this is more than a screening.

This is a gathering!

After the film, stay for a heartfelt, collaborative conversation with experts (announcements coming soon!) who approach women's health through medical, integrative, holistic, and movement-based perspectives.

Together we'll explore:

• Understanding perimenopause and what early hormonal shifts can look like
• Protecting muscle, bone, and metabolic health
• Nourishing your body through intentional nutrition
• Supporting pelvic floor strength so intimacy and confidence remain part of your life
• Navigating this transition with grace, clarity, and self-compassion

Rather than a podium-style lecture, the format encourages dialogue and movement- with space for reflection, moderated audience questions woven throughout, and practical takeaways you can carry home.

The room will be changing its configurations throughout the day for movement and conversation.

This afternoon also marks the beginning of a Calgary-based initiative designed to bring women together in a supportive, welcoming environment where we can better understand our bodies, access trusted resources, move through the transitions of perimenopause and menopause - informed and empowered.
