TEDx Westmount Charter School

TEDx Westmount Charter School is an independently organized TED-style event hosted by Westmount Charter School in Calgary. Licensed by TED, our one-day conference gathers students, educators, innovators, and community changemakers to share “ideas worth spreading” through short, high-impact talks, live demonstrations, and interactive experiences.

While TED provides the global platform and guidelines, the “x” in TEDx signifies that this program is fully curated by our local team, showcasing voices and stories that matter to Calgary and beyond. From light-hearted explorations like Why Dodgeball May Not Belong in Phys-ed to life-saving breakthroughs in AI-driven stroke detection, TEDx Westmount Charter School sparks conversations that cross disciplines, generations, and worldviews.
