Network & Navigate: Connecting Women in Consulting Engineering

Join WCE Calgary for our 2025 Networking and Mentorship Event, an unforgettable evening of connection, insight, and inspiration. This event is more than just a gathering - it’s a space to share stories, spark ideas, and shape the future of our industry. Let’s build each other up, one conversation at a time!

Date: Tuesday September 23, 2025

Time: 5:30 - 8:00pm (doors will close for entry at 6:00pm)

Location: Veranda at The Stables, 2566 Flanders Ave SW #200, Calgary

Cost: $10 (includes appetizers and drinks)

During registration, attendees will choose their preferred topics for discussion and will be allocated to sessions depending on their choices. The topics include but are not limited to:

• Microaggressions and Navigating them Professionally
• Transitioning from Technical roles to Leadership positions
• Managing Conflicts within Multidisciplinary Teams
• Managing Career Plateaus or Burnouts
• Navigating Career Breaks and Parental Leave
• Negotiating without compromising our Values or Relationships

Followed by an open networking session to discuss any topics you may have in mind.

Attendees will participate in engaging group discussions over appetizers and drinks, in three 25-minute sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to seek guidance, advice, and support from our diverse group of women from the AEC industry.
