This free, beginner-friendly workshop is for grassroots organizers, artists, and local residents who want to bring their ideas to life—but feel overwhelmed by the grant process or have struggled to get funding in the past.
Led by , photographer, community organizer, and grant writer who has secured over $800,000 in funding in the last few years for arts and community projects, this session will help you:

This is Part One of a two-part grant writing workshop series.
Part Two will be a smaller, more hands-on session focused on developing actual applications. Participants will get personalized support to flesh out their ideas, draft key sections, and receive feedback.
Attendance at Part One is encouraged, but not required to join Part Two. Attendees of Part One will receive priority registration.
