As a part of the Royal Canadian Legion's "Veterans Helping Veterans Buddy Check Coffee" program, #285 Centennial Branch is hosting a bi-weekly Coffee Chat get-together. Our next gathering is on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Not only is this open to veterans, but to current serving Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP members, and to the wider "uniformed services" community of First Responders and veterans of such.
This is a confidential space you can come to and enjoy the company of other like-minded people with similar life experiences. As your Branch Service Officer I am here to help you just to connect and be able to talk, share, or just listen. Coffee and snacks will be available. So feel free to come out, relax, enjoy some coffee and visit.
These gatherings are not any form of counselling or therapy. They are just a place and time you can come and be with others who understand what life in service has been. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, and I do hope to see you there.
