Chinatown Pop Up SOCIAL Club

You read that right. The next Chinatown Pop Up SOCIAL Club is not your usual movie night. We’re wrapping up the year with a relaxed evening at Prosperity Bar. Classic black and white Cantonese films will be playing in the background, there will be a live DJ, and light snacks will be served. Drinks available for purchase.

It’s our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported the club this year. Come hang out, meet new faces, and celebrate another year of stories and community in Chinatown. Space is limited so sign up early.

ABOUT THE VENUE:

Set in the former legendary Golden Inn restaurant location, Prosperity Bar offers a wide range of cocktails, from rummy mai tais and creations like the Golden Girl to daiquiris, as well as beer, wine, and some mocktails. The food menu is a playful fusion of pan-Asian, Polynesian, and American influences. You'll find bar snacks like crispy, bite-size rangoons filled with cream cheese and fried shrimp, savoury Big Mac egg rolls stuffed with ground beef, cheese, pickles, and a Mac sauce, BLT fried rice, and a Philly cheese steak banh mi sandwich. You can’t miss their bright exterior sign as you come down Centre Street bridge or walk by.
