LOTUS QUEEN
With over 25 years in the game, the Lotus Queen was one of the first women to play the genre in Calgary and serves as the voice and heart of Remote Emissions, the longest-running drum and bass FM radio program in Western Canada. Established in 1997 and fully “junglized” in 1998, Remote Emissions has been a staple ever since.
The Lotus Queen has had the privilege of opening for some of DNB’s finest, including DJ Rap, LTJ Bukem, A-Sides, Commix, Aphrodite, Calyx & Teebee, Doc Scott, and the legendary Ragga Jungle Rinseout at Shambhala. Her DJ sets invite you on a road trip through different eras and styles, featuring fresh new rollers, liquid vibes, ragga anthems, and nostalgic nods to the old school for the true heads.
