Join us on Tuesday, September 30th for our annual walk on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour all Pokaiks (children). The walk will be followed by an afternoon of ceremony, cultural sharing, family activities, and community connection. Everyone is welcome. 🧡

🚶 The Walk
• 10:30 am – Gather at the south end of the Peace Bridge
• 11:00 am – Walk begins along the Bow River Pathway, continuing to 5 Ave SW, crossing 6 Ave SW, turning onto 11 St SW, and ending at Contemporary Calgary

• 12:00 pm – Opening Ceremony
• 12:15 – 4:45 pm – Elder speakers, storytellers, youth dancers and drummers, Indigenous artisan market, community organization booths, family activities, and food trucks
• 5:00 pm – Closing Ceremony

• Transit: Holiday hours will be in effect. The nearest stop is Kerby Station.
• Biking: Bike racks available at the front of the building.
• Driving: Street parking and downtown lots nearby. Note: no parking available at Contemporary Calgary (Lot 61).
