25-31 Home Defense 1 (Shotgun)- Calera

This class covers the use of the shotgun in a home defense setting. Home defense plans, mindset, structure clearing (WASP System), legal issues and decision making are included. Room searching techniques and scenarios will be conducted in Double Tap Training Ground’s purpose-built tactical structure.

Force on force scenarios may use a combination of any of the following training equipment: airsoft, paintball and NLTM marking cartridges.

Equipment Requirements
12g Pump Shotgun (no semi-autos)
Groin protection
Gloves

NOTE: This is an advanced level class. Attendees should have basic shotgun skills (as presented in our shotgun programs) to include: muzzle management, marksmanship, presentation, loading/reloading and malfunction clearing.
